EnVision Quality Supports was founded in 2008 by Krissie Summerhays, who takes pride in knowing our agency was founded per the request of families like yours and strives to live that mission daily to be a strong advocate for people with disabilities and their families; identifying strengths and identifying and meeting each person’s unique needs.

Krissie began her career working with people with disabilities in 1996 as a direct support professional while completing her degree from the University of Utah. She then worked as a case manager in an ICF/ID before joining DSPD in 1999 as a Program Manager over quality, where she was tasked with training and reviewing the quality of programs throughout the state of Utah for all people supported by DSPD and continued to work on special program and was instrumental in training and developing support coordinators throughout the state of Utah.

She worked at DSPD until 2008, when EQS was founded. She has served on numerous boards and committees over the course of her career, including Governor appointed positions with the Disability Advisory Council and Utah Developmental Disabilities Council; various work groups for the Department of Human Services; has been a certified trainer and quality enhancement specialist for the Council on Quality and Leadership for individuals with Disabilities, and is a nationally certified Brain Injury Specialist.
