Atalee is a dedicated professional with nearly 15 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities in various roles. In high school she started as a volunteer at a special needs school, then spent almost a decade as a special education teacher assistant. In 2020, she graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor in Recreational Therapy and a minor in Disability Studies.
Since 2017, Atalee has worked as a caregiver for those receiving DSPD services. Having supported individuals both in educational and home environments, she has witnessed firsthand the transition into services and the evolving needs of families. Her deep empathy and commitment to advocacy are evident in her career and personal life.
Atalee has also participated in multiple humanitarian trips to India, Mexico and Ukraine, further strengthening her passion for serving others.
In her free time, Atalee enjoys outdoor activities like dirt biking, rock climbing, fishing, and camping. She also embraces more relaxed hobbies such as drawing, reading, and taking her dog and two cats on walks. Above all, she values meaningful relationships and spending time with her loved ones.
